We are a team of passionate coaches who believe in the power of soccer to teach important values and life skills.
At our organization, we place a strong emphasis on values such as teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship. We believe that these values are essential for success both on and off the field and work hard to instill them in our players through every aspect of our program.
Our experienced coaches are trained not only in soccer skills, but also in the development of these important values. They work closely with each player to help them build confidence, develop leadership skills, and learn the importance of working together as a team.
We believe that sports have the power to bring people together and make a difference, and we strive to embody these values in everything we do.
Whether you’re a seasoned soccer player or just starting out, we welcome you to our organization. We offer a range of programs tailored to meet the needs of players at all skill levels, and we’re dedicated to helping each player reach their full potential both on and off the field.
Our Facilities
Weekly training sessions are regularly held at our newly acquired “Mavericks Sportsplex”, with Smith Middle School being our back up field on occasion.
With its well-manicured grass, our training field provides the perfect space for drills, scrimmages, and practice games. The field is spacious enough to accommodate multiple players and teams, making it an ideal location for our training sessions and other events we host.
Overall, our fields provide young players with the tools they need to succeed on the field. With its quality playing surface, this training field will soon become a center for our local community

With over 30 years of playing experience and more than a decade dedicated to player development, I’ve seen firsthand that athletic ability alone isn’t enough. I’ve watched players promoted without strong fundamentals struggle once the competition intensifies—something I even experienced with my own two children, one of whom now plays Division I soccer.
That’s why our focus is clear: we teach and cultivate the fundamentals. Athleticism may come naturally, but true skill must be developed with intention. Our mission is to prepare players not just to compete, but to thrive long-term.

Grew up playing the game and bring experience from both Colombia and England, two of the most passionate soccer cultures in the world. That journey shaped how he sees the sport—not just as a game, but as a tool for growth.
His number one priority is that every player who comes through our program leaves better than they arrived—both as a player and as a person. Wins and losses matter less than the transformation each child experiences along the way.

Mrs.Carter is not only the heart of our admin team, but also a proud soccer mom of two boys in the program. She’s had a front-row seat to watching them grow—both as players and as young men—through their Mavericks journey. That experience fuels her passion for helping other families feel supported, connected, and confident that their kids are in the right place.
Whether it’s answering questions, keeping things organized, or cheering from the sidelines, Mrs.Carter brings both professionalism and genuine care to our Mavericks family.

What ages do you accept?
We welcome children ages 4–13, with training groups organized based on age and skill level to ensure everyone gets the right balance of challenge and support.
My child is a complete beginner. Can they still join?
Absolutely! Many of our players start with little to no experience. Our coaches are trained to work with beginners and help them build a strong foundation—physically and mentally.
How is Soccer Mavericks different from other soccer programs?
Unlike recreational soccer or basic clinics, we focus on individual player development through structured ball mastery sessions, high-touch coaching, and a fun but disciplined environment. Our goal isn’t just participation—it’s progress.
Do you offer trial sessions?
Yes! We offer a Discovery Session—a low-pressure evaluation where your child can experience our style of coaching and see if it’s the right fit for them.
What if my child is shy or nervous?
That’s totally okay—and very common. Our coaches are trained to work with all personality types. Many shy children have come out of their shell through our program!
